OK let me just say my reasoning for coming to the dealership was not what it was when I left, my fiance Heather and I was coming to talk to the financial department about paying off the products we purchased on our 2024 Equinox so we could refinance through our bank needless to say we ran into SKIP WHICH PUT US WITH NICK....very nice very helpful thus our adventure began. We were excited because SKIP realized with our nice down payment that NICK would be more than happy to assist us and SKIP told Heather I can get you a new car with that down payment and HEATHER was off to the races well we end up with the same car just the newer 2025 Equinox and I love it CHEVY has done wonders with the upgrades and we were able to get a few upgrades ourselves that Heather wanted overall experience was beyond happy thanks SKIP THANKS NICK FOR AN EXCEPTIONAL JOB I AM HAPPY WITH OUR NEW PURCHASE HEATHER TOO until next time.....

Billion in Iowa City is great! It is super easy to schedule appointments. Staff are very friendly, and customers can wait comfortably in the waiting area. Also, it's always nice to run-into Blandon who sold us our son's car. He asked our son if he liked his car, and engaged in small conversation. Blandon is very professional and so much fun to work with.

Ordered on line, went in dropped off truck, about a hr it was done.

I needed my muffler repaired on my car, and Rob was able to schedule me in a timely manner, also providing a loaner vehicle for me to use. He was very friendly and answered every question I had. I will be coming back to Billion again in the future, for any mechanical needs.

I took my Camero in for an oil change scheduled for 10:45. After already sitting for 1 1/2 hours they informed me the radio software update was slow (not scheduled) so I had a ride home to wait. At 3:30 I called to see if it was completed. No one called me. What should have been a 45 minute oil change ended up taking over 5 hours. This is the second time in a row I've experienced this poor service. I'll be finding a new service center because they're terrible at service. Over $100 for an oil change seems unreasonable too. The only good part was the driver who took me home and picked me up. Good Bye Billion!

My car had been totaled and I needed a car. I called Billion's, talked to O. J. Warsame he offered to come get me, but I had a rental car. He was very attentive to my needs and concerns as I was working with an insurance company. We found just what I wanted. O. J. was very patient as we worked for days through the details of the insurance etc. Then when I finally went to pick up the car, he spent hours setting up and explaining to me the details of all the features and the apps. I am now the proud new owner of a 2025 blue Chevy Trailblazer!

We waited 2 hours and 15 minutes for an oil change and diagnosis of a new noise in the chaise area. I went out to check on the holdup and 5 minutes later the technician came in to let us know it was the driver side strut. The repair quote was $2000. I went to an independent mechanic and got a quote for $400, labor and part. From my perspective, that is substantial over head and cost for genuine GM parts.

They were short staffed but they always do a good job but i did ask them to check to see if there as an issue with the ac by just double checking the fuse tied to the ac, but they came back with saying they would need to take my whole dashboard apart to get to my AC, which lets me know they didn't even do my original request as my only feedback

I accepted their offer to test drive the same vehicle in a different color, then they located the one I wanted and had it delivered to me in days. Paperwork was done in minutes. I made a appointment to get my oil changed and when the time came I took my truck in and got the oil changed and they have a very nice waiting area with coffee and pop tv play area for the younger ones

I asked for no cabin in filter change when I checked in. When my car was done, I noticed items on the floor of my car from my glove box. I was upset and asked why when I told them not to. He said they just do it anyway. You charge $75 dollars for a filter. My husband buys the filter for 20 and it takes him 2 minutes to replace. Everytime I ask not to have that completed and it gets "checked" anyway.

Nick was very pleasant to deal with on my new lease. This is the third one for me and this time the process was probably the easiest I have done.

I've only had the car for 2 months and the battery went dead - I had not driven the car for 10 days but I don't understand how that could happen - all they said that the car has a lot of electronics in it and could drain the battery if not driven. Since the car locks automatically, I could not get in. When I called the dealership, I wind up talking to about 3 different people and they told me about the key in the fob - I finally got the key out and finally got the cover off to insert the key which was not easy to find but all was dark - they surmised the battery in the fob must be dead or it could be the vehicle and I said I can't bring the car in since it won't start - so I took another vehicle - drove 30 miles to the dealership only to find out the fob's were fully charged. Finally, Rob in the service dept asked if I had AAA and they could start it - why wasn't that suggested before when I could have saved 60 miles. AAA did get the car started and they said it was definitely a dead battery. I drove it to the dealership, and they found the battery was fine - probably because I had driven it the 30 miles. they kept it over the weekend and could not find anything wrong with it. When I finally got it back I noticed the date and time was set to June 22, 2024 - I called and they said once it reaches the satellite somewhere it will automatically reset to the right date and time - after 2 days of driving it never reset - so I tried to do it manually and that worked but when I changed it back to do it automatically it reverted back to the 2024 date. When I called again the gal I talked to said there was a way to do it but she needed to see the car in order to fix it. So another 60 miles to get this taken care of. I also notice that I used to be able to see the speed limit above my speed - but that is no longer the case. I also don't think I have internet anymore but I'm not sure how to get that. I was told I need On Star to use My Buick - but was not told that when I purchased the car - I asked about it and they said on star was separate and did not intertwine with the rest of the car - only to find out that is not true. At one time I talked to someone at the dealership who he said he was the tech guy and was real informative - so I hope I can talk to him to get the real scoop on what I have and what I don't - I'm looking for the internet - Bluetooth and how the date and time will automatically update when the time changes and get the speed limit of the road I'm on to display. Needless to say - this has not been a good experience - I'm not sure what the service dept does beside maybe change oil. They did get me the seat extenders which I had asked the salesperson for but never got before this incident

You send me paperwork on a different vehicle than what I got. And I kept on getting told, somebody can get talked to me about my financing. They never did. Not too happy about getting lied to about the vehicle.

In the end it was fine

Everything went great until I saw that the next payment for the lease I had traded in came out of my checking account AFTER the sale on the 12th. $559.79 came out of my checking account on the 15th. I was told I might get it back "if they are off". I'm going to see if I get it back. In the meantime, I plan to file with the BBB.

They are the best!

I gave you 3 stars only because I was told at signing of buying my brand new car that I would get 3 oil changes for free. I got one and had to pay for my second one. I drove over 50 miles to get this oil change and I would not have done that if I knew I was going to have to pay 100$ plus the gas it took me to get there. I’m not impressed.

Austin was very friendly and focused on finding a vehicle that fit our needs in a truck.,but Iam pretty sure he was not aware of the up coming issues we would have with this vehicle after purchasing it. I asked if this truck was in an accident and assured it was not. We had to return the 2025 Chevy silverado for three repairs: We did not see the scratch line on the right side of the the truck bed until we got home so we had to returnn it for repairs which they had to buffet it out but we can still see it. Then had to return another day because the transmission light came on and the gas lid would not stay closed so they repaired them. There is a scratch on the tailgate and a dent,which was not repaired. We do not feel your business was honest with us. During the sales we continued asking for your interest rate and was not told until the end and I stated we use our bank for the loan and he (not Austin) insisted your loan office had the lowest rates 7.93. We had a poor experience with the Sales process and felt we were pushed through. We went to our Banker and their interest rate was 6.7 so again we had to take more time to fix the issues. I wanted to return the truck after talking to other people we know and they too had bad experiences. It sounds like your business ethics need to turn to better customer service and focus on their needs and not your profits. Oh,and getting a loan vehicle was a poor experience also,but the lady at the desk was nice. We expect the best service from now on and by the way you lost a good emploee,Austin,he too was not impressed with your sales process,he has good ethics. I brought my Chevy Silverado in for a routine oil/filter change. It was a very busy morning, but the job was completed in the normal time. When I got into the truck to drive home, I noticed that the "check engine" light was on. I went back to the Service Manager's desk and they were very helpful. Though the shop was very busy, Service Manager Rob told me to bring the truck right back in and they would look at it. Rob checked for codes with a handheld device and looked under the hood for obvious issues. He got some clues from the codes that were stored and said he would take the truck back and plug it in to the large analyzer. In a few minutes he came back and said that he had cleaned off a sensor that often causes this problem and cleared the codes. He explained that the codes indicated that the sensors detected very high alcohol content in the fuel and were trying to compensate by changing the fuel mixture causing the check engine indicator to light. We discussed that even though my Silverado is a Flex Fuel vehicle, I was not using high alcohol fuel. The check engine light was no longer on and has not been a problem since. Rob demonstrated excellent service and rapport by taking my truck back for an unplanned appointment and resolved the issue. Given how busy the shop was, it would have been very easy to say that I would have to come back later or make an appointment for further analysis. I appreciated his courtesy and enthusiasm in getting my problem resolved. This is one of the reasons that I bring my Silverado and Camaro to this dealership for service. Well done, Rob!

My vehicle has an obvious issue but the dealership was unable to diagnose a problem. I drove 30 miles to go to this service department and trusted a GM technician would be able to diagnose it. The fact that they said nothing was wrong was puzzling. The issue occurred 2 minutes into me picking up but I was heading to work and couldn't take it back. Now I either need to work with them to drop it off again after they just had it for 3 days or find somewhere else.

My experience at the dealership was very positive. The staff was professional, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire process. They took the time to answer my questions clearly and made sure I felt comfortable with my decision. Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant experience.

Service and communication is top priority.

I have been bringing vehicles to this dealership for more than a decade and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. There was zero lack of communication from the time I dropped off my vehicle until the time I picked it up. The advisor, Lindsay, used the verbiage "I don't know" with every conversion I had with him. My vehicle was at the dealership for 10 days; I think my advisor called me proactively 1-2 times... otherwise it was me having to call and follow up with him and half the time he had no answer or wasn't available. The most disappointing thing is one of the issues I had addressed to be fixed, when I picked up the vehicle, was not fixed. I had talked to two different advisors about the issue, and they said they'd get it taken care of. It was not. The advisor's response "I didn't know he didn't do it", which really was disappointing because his sole job is to be the voice between the customer and the mechanic. He failed at this job. His solution was to 1) bring the car in the next day (when it had been sitting at Billion for 10 days 2) have someone come get it (when again it had been sitting there for TEN days). He then said he'd do the work for free, which I appreciate, but it was already going to be done for free because there was warranty work being submitted for a faulty sensor (which he had no idea about). This is the first time I have had an issue like this at Billion, but it was extremely disappointing. I understand parts sometimes don't come in, but he was continually giving me false promises as my vehicle sat untouched day after day. This whole thing could have been avoided with over-communication, but this advisor lacked the communication skills or the foresight to do this.

On Saturday morning I realized at home that my 2023 GMC Canyon needed a battery replacement. I called the Billion service department and as expected, was told that they were very busy due to the severe cold and reduced Saturday staffing. I appreciated that, but did mention I needed to get to work at 1:00 PM. Hearing this, the service advisor was able get my vehicle in, replaced the battery, and I got to work on time. A big shout out to Rob, the service advisor. And the battery was replaced under the warranty at no charge. :-)
